Monthly Update for December 2015

I am going to give you an update of what I have been up to lately and what will come. Also, I will give you an outlook of what I am going to do with this blog.

For starters, since October 2015, I have been regrouping. It has been a busy year. I have worked very hard. For the month of November I was just warn out, but that doesn't mean I lost my focus even though it might seem that way. It leaves a time to re-think my strategy. This has been a great year. I have come up with my new books for the Kindle, 5 books on paperback and 6 audiobooks. I am even releasing The Evolution of the Squared Circle: The Production of Professional Wrestling this year December 26, 2015 on the Amazon Kindle. It is a story of how the Production value of wrestling has evolved since the 1950's.

However, when you need a break, you take one and I did, but now it's time to get prepared for the next year and it's time to go do it again the next coming year. This leaves me time to re-think my strategy as I stated before. I feel as if I have been going in all different directions and it's been fun. As I find my brands identity. I've thrown around names, I've written many things, and I've worked hard. I still want to incorporate video into my work next year. Just recently I have added a podcast on spreaker and it can be found on Itunes to.

However, when your doing so much work, it's time to link them together. It's time to make work that I do consistent with each other. If I write a blog, it should coincide with my book or my podcast. There should be a relationship with them and each other. Just as I mentioned in my podcast, it seems as it we are moving at hyperspeed and it seems as there is disconnect with everything. I heard a little from a PW Torch Podcast and I then made my own podcast. A little clip is at the bottom of this blog.

The theme that is coming back and it will be the central theme and that is The Passage of Joe. It is coming back. It will be a topic or central theme that I talk about. It will be once a week starting in January. I will talk about Self Help, Finance, Business and Inspiration topics. I will stick to this theme. I will also give a monthly report more consistently.

This year has been a good productive year, but as the year winds down more is to come. You will get to know my books personally and as the late Dusty Rhodes said, "My hand is touching your hand." "My words will be touching your spirit." And I plan on being more in tune and reaching out even if that is a few minutes a day.

As the holidays are approaching and the year is winding down, we get prepared for the next year. We all try to make sense of the year and plan for what is another year. And I have an idea what I will do next year and I will work on that vision and work on that dream. Many things change and my vision has changes many times. I have chosen something I have enjoyed and it's time to step in that role.

All we can do this month is outline and prepare for the year. Remember what we learned and did this year and don't forget and right that list down. It has been a good year. And around New Years I will be back with Monthly Report. I will keep you posted when I write another blog. The year is not over I will keep you posted with something new. My Podcast is called Joseph Evaldi's Podcast and my other blog is The Temple of Wrestling.

This has been a good year. Till next time.

The Passage of Joe: Random Thoughts, Coming Up With Something to Write

Here are some random thoughts. I really don't know what I am going to write about, recently I've been stuck, but I need to get started with writing again and this is how I am going to do it. I guess I am exhausted with the writing process and I got to force myself to write. I am going to write a blog. No advertising. No Promotion. Nothing, but my random thoughts on my stuckness that I am right now. Well not actually stuckness, but a feeling of laziness where my head is clouded. I guess this is what happens with every writer from time to time.

This is a throwback from the days of writing The Passage of Joe in high school for a few people in school 20 years ago embarrassing myself, but I was a kid then and I've grown since then at least I think, but I'm going to see how far this goes.

New thought. Where am I going with this, but this may be my worst writing display since those days. Something tells me it's more entertaining then the Kardashians on No Pun intended. I need to get the creative juices flowing so best way to do that is crack jokes at myself and the fact that I am stuck with writing or just not wanting to get serious with writing at this moment. I am trying to get the creative juices flowing. Not trying to write the next movie The Rock is in, that would be absurd, but it can be possible. I might have wrote about him in my upcoming book on wrestling I'm not sure. He has done a lot for the wrestling business.

I'm finally writing something that has switched gears in me and that is when I think about wrestling. I just wish it was like it was back then. Back in the 80's and the 90's. I feel my purpose of this blog has been fulfilled. I've got my mind together and now I could map whatever I am going to do. This is just the beginning of the next year of writing, let's just see what I will come out with this year.

I will not write The Passage of Joe all the time, but this is a throwback to when I wrote it in the past. I guess I'll start from the beginning again. It's time to go back from basics.

The Harvest

This is the season to reap the rewards of all the hard work everyone has done all year. This is The Harvest Season. In agriculture, this was known as the season where you are rewarded for what you have grown. If you planted good seeds, then you get good crops. If you didn't take care of the crops you wouldn't have harvested very well.

The Harvest could be anything. It could be plants and fruit, it could be products you've put out, and it could be the work that you have put into yourself. This is the time of year for it. When we plants our seeds we are rewarded.

This year I put out a lot of products and have done a lot of work. I am not all there where I want to be, but I am working towards something and I have achieved. Nobody could take away what I have accomplished and I have to work towards the reward. And if it's good, then I will be rewarded. Some books might not have that reward, but some have here and there. Perhaps I should have promoted them better, but I was happy what I put out this year.

It is like growing any business it takes it's time. And there is a time where you are rewarded and then you will have to do it over again. This is what it takes to grow. And people work all year around to set up the biggest season, the Holiday Season, which is a big season for gift and giving to another, but the season starts with the rush of getting the gifts which is now.

At the end of the year we are rewarded or punished depending on what we did. If we have planted good seeds then we are rewarded. Others might be jealous of us on what we do, but there are those that will respect and help us along our journey. It is September, the beginning of the Harvesting Season and also for many it Pumpkin Spice Everything. Happy Harvest.

Putting Money Aside for Those Fun and Exciting Times in Life

With it being August a time to relax and go on vacation. It's that time of year to think about using your money with something fun. And this can be done any time of year. Rather you are going to Vermont for a skiing trip, backpacking in Europe, or going on that memorable trip to Disney. And the fun things you can do don't even have to be out of town. I'm sure your town has many things going on and if your town is small, maybe you have to travel to the next town.

With many things to do for fun, let's talk about what you can do for fun. How do you save for fun? How do you put a fund together for the moments that will last a lifetime?

A fund like this takes time to build up and it should be started at anytime. Either it's putting down $5 a paycheck or $50 a paycheck. You want this fund to mean something for you. And a little bit each time it will build up for you. And the idea is to have fun with with. You don't want to put money aside and not enjoy it. However, there has to be discipline in having this fund.

There are some tips in having this fund.

  1. Disclipline: You've got to train yourself not to spend your cash in this fund. This is mainly impulse spending. You want the money to be there when you need it.
  2. As I mentioned before, you want to contribute some money for this fund every paycheck. You can set the amount. There is no limit. It can be a little and it can be a lot as long as you set what you need to set you'll be ok.
  3. If you can't use credit great. Most things for fun go on your credit and that doesn't go over very well and expenses build up through time. As long you have cash for it, you won't have to pay it back.
These are just some tips. I'm sure there are more, but you want your fun fund to serve you well. You want to have a memorable occasion with not having to pay it back. This is one way of looking at it. And if you are on vacation this month, enjoy your vacation.

For more about saving ideas, my book can be found on Amazon. It is called Saving: How to Save Your Money (Book 2 of Money: Learning the Basics).

I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. If you enjoyed what you read or if you wanted to add something please comment. I am interested in what you have to say. And thank you for reading this blog.

How Fast Food Costs Us Money?

Everyday People around the world eat Fast Food. They come home late at night and they are hungry. The natural impulse is to eat Fast Food. Rather it's a McDonalds, a Burger King, Taco Bell, an Arby's or something quick. And with this kind of thinking people are losing their money on a day to day basis.

Fast Food is also the growing problem of obesity to. Many people don't want that wait or to cook their food after works. That is why it is easy to do.

However, their are benefits of brown bagging it for lunch. What can you do to save money on fast food?

1. Brown Bag or can it for lunch. a can costs $1 compared to McDonalds which might cost $6 to $8 depending on what you get. Maybe more if you are buying for someone.
2. Save that money and then at the end of the week treat yourself to a nice restaurant. Why eat quick when you could have your food in a nice atmosphere.
3. You can limit fast food to 1 or 2 days a week. this will cut back on your expenses and you can use the money towards bills or another expense.
4. You can save at least $40 or more not getting fast food. It can put money in the bank.

These are just some tips and also a final one, your health. You can put years on your life by not eating fast food all the time this is something that can be helpful in the long run.

With more money and years on your life you can't go wrong. For finding out more about this book you can go to Saving: How To Save Your Money (Money: Learning the Basics Book 2).

I want to hear your comments good or bad I would like to know what you thought. If I missed something or if I covered what you wanted just let me know. And Thank You for reading this blog.

Can We Cutback on Coffee To Save Money?

I love my coffee as anyone else. I won't deny that I am a big coffee drinker. I go to The Coffee House in Edison, NJ a local coffee shop in town for my coffee. And how can I work or go anywhere else without my coffee. I've spent about $5,000 on coffee in a span of 5 years. I'm a writer and it is an expensive habit. I do enjoy it, but there is alternative ways that I could approach having that coffee in the morning.

Many people love there coffee fix including me. They go to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts or a local coffee shop in town. Many people go for the atmosphere and the coffee. They love working on whatever their doing and having their coffee.

However, is there an alternative way we can save money for the sake of our fix. For starters, we can go to the library and make our own coffee when we go. This gives us the opportunity to work in a different environment. This creates a different way of approaching our finances.

Also, you can cut down on coffee and get yourself a hot coffee. This is much cheaper, but in the summer who can think of having a hot drink, that's why iced coffee's go.

All of this is good theory, but we are creatures of habit. We like our environment to go to. This is why many people like bars and go to coffee shops. This is why I like going to coffee shops. And it is a crutch of mine and many. Writing and Coffee go hand and hand and it adds up. This is what David Bach suggested in the Latte Factor when he said small expenses add up and could be used for retirement investments.

And maybe their is a way you don't have to give up that cup of joe as long as you put some aside for when you need it, then maybe you can still drink that coffee everyday.

For more on tips about saving go to my book Saving: How to Save Your Money (Money: Learning the Basics Book 2).

In my other blogs this month I will be discussing about personal finances as is important to all of us.

How Can We Not Get Trapped By Our Credit Card

As everyone knows we are a society in debt. Many of the Americans including me are in debt. We either maxed out our Credit Cards or we are knee high into debt with our Student Loans. How did we become a society that is in debt?

First off let me explain how this happens, when we are 18 years old, credit card companies approach us with the idea we can have anything we want with a credit card and they hook us. This is when you go to college.

Second, I didn't mention this in the my book Going Broke: Learning from Financial Mistakes (Money: Learning the Basics Book 1), but I'm going to mention about how whenever you go to a retail store, no names included, they push you to open a credit card. The customer or person is forced to get a credit card for the purchase. Wherever you go they try to get you to open a credit card and it's bad. Next thing you know, you are $1,000 or more in debt with that card. This is how they get you and I'm not going to include the interest they charge which is ridiculous.

This is the trap of the Credit Card. Credit Cards makes it so easy to buy whatever you want, but you have they pain of paying the card increment out of increment. How do you escape this trap? How do you discipline yourself to just spend on emergency situations?

This is discipline and maturity. The parent of the child should teach them about money and about credit earlier on. Some do, but many don't and just because they didn't prepare themselves many are going broke as I mention this and other topics in my book about the subject.

We are a society that needs to learn from our mistakes and learning about our credit cards is one of them. What do we need to do?

1. Use Credit Cards only for Emergency
2. Learn about what expenses to Make on the Card. If we can pay cash, maybe through saving we can accomplish that.
3. Teach our family members, our kids, or significant other how to use the credit card or have an open discussion about money.

These will teach others and yourself about important strategies needed with money. I hope this has been helpful. In other blogs I will discuss this topic of money. I will discuss the importance of this because I feel it is important that we know our finances.

Please Comment and Thank You for Reading this Blog.

Donald Trump, America, and The Harvest.

I've had a busy year this year and now it is finally quit so I can now touch base with everyone on what is coming out and what I have been working on behind the scenes for products you might want.

First of, let me apologize for those comments I made in the Donald Trump posts. I was fueled by his speech and reacted as most people do. I might have said unfair words towards people out of the country. This is not a true statement. There are good people who work hard to get to where they are no matter what background.

My only issue is that whoever comes into the country needs to legally do so. Being an American used to mean something and I am aware that America has made many mistakes throughout it's history, but there was a time where you were proud to be an American. You had that feeling. It was a feeling from a different time. Now you don't get that feeling anymore and I can't describe it. People are a lot more ruder where I live. It might be different wherever you're from.

But it's an issue we all face with whatever race, creed, or gender we are. This world is not friendly and before we had people who would make the world work and now people get upset if it is not moving very fast that is why we need to slow down an reevaluate. That is the purpose of this blog.

What do I need to re-evaluate? A lot of things. I've been working so hard releasing many books starting from September. Not all of them I released that I worked on, but mostly all of them are out. I tried to keep my mind fresh with ideas, but as September will be one month right now it's what my friend told yesterday it's The Harvest.

The Harvest was a time of year where your hard work paid off. It was a time of year where your work you put in since January or earlier would pay off. It is the nature of the Harvest. We have worked hard so we can now reap the rewards of this time.

Why am I writing this in August? It is because now it the time to prepare those crops. For me it's not crops it's books. Either Kindle or Paperback or Audio Books. I've done a lot this past year and now it's time for me to prepare for the next months ahead. I feel excited that I put that work in. It has been the most productive I have been with writing as far as producing stuff for myself in my life time. So whatever I get with my Harvest I will be happy.

This has been the first full year of work with my business and now I have a logo which I will release on this site that I am proud of. it fits my name and my brand. This brand is something I worked hard on and I am proud of.

That is why I believe we should Persevere with your Dreams and Love Life which is my new mission statement. Through this year I've been trying to find an identity and maybe some of the stuff I write won't hit, but maybe some of it will. I just have to be able to put that work in and hope for a good Harvest.

In another blog I write I will discuss about The Harvest and the future blogs I write will be on the Money: Learning the Basics Series of books I wrote. I won't copy them. I will write about that topic and create new material on the blog. I will create blog posts worthwhile about writing and get you to start thinking about your money.

Until next time Thank you for reading.

#DancingMan and his Courage

I'd figure I write a post on #DancingMan. I'd figure I have something to say about his efforts. I remember going to night clubs some time when a band was playing and I was nervous to dance in public. I always thought I had to have had a woman to dance with to be cool. That was my assumption. This would make woman feel insecure because of my insecurities. I'd had to face the fear of being scrutinized with my friends and others I didn't know.

Dancing in public can be brutal especially if your the object that can be made fun of. I respect #DancingMan. I don't know much about him but from the picture it looks like no one is there to be his friend before until now. And he faced those fears which should be respected by everyone and should be an encouragement to Dance and enjoy life.

We should not be afraid to dance and when we get older we lose sight of that and our music disappears. Everybody is granted a gift even if it is one moment in time and this is one moment for him.

It gets me upset that people still get bullied. I remember I was once bullied in life and it lowers your self esteem. You feel you are not worth it. You face life getting upset at others or lifes circumstances. And as Rocky said in Rocky Balboa, "Life can be a cruel world and it will beat you down if you let it." You have to be willing to persevere no matter what challenge you face in life and there are many.

I just wish I could have been there to stick up for #DancingMan. He doesn't deserve to be ridiculed for doing something he loves, but we are trained to never face our fears and be afraid. I hope this party that they throw #DancingMan heals the damage that was done to him and from what they are doing for him. He is in good company.
And #DancingMan if you read this blog. Never be afraid to dance and never be afraid of who you are. It's what makes you who you are in life. Keep doing what you love. Never be tied down by life or by something you don't like. You were meant for something more and through your experience you could share your experiences.

And I'll throw it out there if you want I'll write a book about your experiences. I would do something that I enjoy doing and that's writing. And I was laughed at in school for it before, but I did it anyway. Plus I need a book that will put money in my pocket. I'm a struggling writer and I'm struggling to earn a buck. I would split the profits with you and if you want we could raise money for a charity of your cause. It is good to give back as others are doing for you again I want to thank you #DancingMan you are an inspiration keep dancing.

Monthly Update for February 2015

I know this is a late update for what I've been working on and will put out this month, but it seems I am off to a slow start and it felt easy when I was writing the stuff, but to release it, make videos, promote. It's a whole new field. I am discovering the tricks of promoting.

However, since I am not backed by a big publishing company who will promote me. I do all of that myself. So every time someone buys my writing I am grateful.

And I don't mind writing and working. It's this stuff that keeps me going, but just in any profession there is a lot of work involved with it. And it takes time to get to where I want to go. Before you know it I'm engulfed in my profession and quitting is not an option.

Let me discuss what I've been working on in January 2015 and it will be a lead in to what I will work on in February 2015.

All I worked on in January 2015 was working on a series of short ebooks on finance that will be out sometime this year. I finished writing three, and I have one more to work on. However, it takes time to put them out which is what I will be doing in the month of February.

I have many unfinished projects and as I learned from Terri Savelle Foy from a YouTube video. You need to finish out unfinished projects to clear the clutter out. And my writings are unfinished projects. I have about 10 worked on projects that need to be released. Which I will try my best to release them this year.

The World of Groups: Sociology and My Experiences in Senior Seminar will be released March 6, 2015 of this year on the Amazon Kindle. It is a book based on theory of Sociology and my experiences in a class that I had in Senior Seminar. you will learn about the ideas of scapegoating and paradoxes.

I should have about 4 books ready to be released next month. I'll play it by ear.

I thank you for your support, every little bit helps. If I don't consistently write in this blog it is because I am working on projects that you will be happy with.

I am working on getting a guest blogger which should keep this site going. I have interesting topics coming. Rather it is a Youtube video, a blog, or my book.

However, I am living my dream. I am writing and I am doing a whole lot more. Even though I feel I am moving slow this month, I know the pace will pick up. I guess now I enjoy the slow pace while it is here. I will keep you updated on my progress.

Happy New Years 2015. A Report on what's in store for 2015 from me

Happy New Years 2015 Everyone. I hope everyone has a great start to the new year.

I first want to discuss my accomplishments I made in the year 2014. Thanks to your help the Kindle Book Birth Order: How the Roles of Each Sibling are Placed at Birth became the Hot New Release for Marriage & Family section and it is currently ranked #62 out of 100 in Marriage and Family. This is a good way to start of the year considering I have more to do this year. I will discuss this right now.

My goals for this year are to write 50 short kindle books about 25 and 30 pages next year. I'm going to try to do series books, Some in the topics of finance, social media, self improvement, and some books I have been working on last year. I also will do videos as well on many different topics.

I might not post that much in the beginning of the year, but around April and May I will keep on posting stuff. I will work feverishly to keep my readers happy. Last year was the beginning of something that could turn out to be a great year. As soon I have more material ready, I promise I will not disappoint you. I will try to provide request on the blog, my youtube channel or my facebook page.

This is going to be a good year and a year where I will do a whole lot. Not only for myself, but all of my readers and those that watch my videos.

And I will leave everyone this New Years video for you. It is about New Years Resolutions. It is a time to set goals and keep them. This is what I will do this year I hope you do the same.

Happy 2015 to Everyone.
