Monthly Update for December 2015

Image
I am going to give you an update of what I have been up to lately and what will come. Also, I will give you an outlook of what I am going to do with this blog. For starters, since October 2015, I have been regrouping. It has been a busy year. I have worked very hard. For the month of November I was just warn out, but that doesn't mean I lost my focus even though it might seem that way. It leaves a time to re-think my strategy. This has been a great year. I have come up with my new books for the Kindle, 5 books on paperback and 6 audiobooks. I am even releasing The Evolution of the Squared Circle: The Production of Professional Wrestling this year December 26, 2015 on the Amazon Kindle. It is a story of how the Production value of wrestling has evolved since the 1950's. However, when you need a break, you take one and I did, but now it's time to get prepared for the next year and it's time to go do it again the next coming year. This leaves me time to re-think my str

The Passage of Joe: Random Thoughts, Coming Up With Something to Write

Here are some random thoughts. I really don't know what I am going to write about, recently I've been stuck, but I need to get started with writing again and this is how I am going to do it. I guess I am exhausted with the writing process and I got to force myself to write. I am going to write a blog. No advertising. No Promotion. Nothing, but my random thoughts on my stuckness that I am right now. Well not actually stuckness, but a feeling of laziness where my head is clouded. I guess this is what happens with every writer from time to time. This is a throwback from the days of writing The Passage of Joe in high school for a few people in school 20 years ago embarrassing myself, but I was a kid then and I've grown since then at least I think, but I'm going to see how far this goes. New thought. Where am I going with this, but this may be my worst writing display since those days. Something tells me it's more entertaining then the Kardashians on TV...lol. No Pun

The Harvest

Image
This is the season to reap the rewards of all the hard work everyone has done all year. This is The Harvest Season. In agriculture, this was known as the season where you are rewarded for what you have grown. If you planted good seeds, then you get good crops. If you didn't take care of the crops you wouldn't have harvested very well. The Harvest could be anything. It could be plants and fruit, it could be products you've put out, and it could be the work that you have put into yourself. This is the time of year for it. When we plants our seeds we are rewarded. This year I put out a lot of products and have done a lot of work. I am not all there where I want to be, but I am working towards something and I have achieved. Nobody could take away what I have accomplished and I have to work towards the reward. And if it's good, then I will be rewarded. Some books might not have that reward, but some have here and there. Perhaps I should have promoted them better, but I w

Putting Money Aside for Those Fun and Exciting Times in Life

Image
Times Might Be Bad, But We are Planning for Future Times With it being Sumer time which is a time to relax and go on vacation. It's that time of year to think about using your money with something fun. Even though right now it may not be easy, but we are planning for future times when things get better. And this can be done any time of year. Rather you are going to Vermont for a skiing trip, backpacking in Europe, or going on that memorable trip to Disney. And the fun things you can do don't even have to be out of town. I'm sure your town has many things going on and if your town is small, maybe you have to travel to the next town. With many things to do for fun, let's talk about what you can do for fun. How do you save for fun? How do you put a fund together for the moments that will last a lifetime? A fund like this takes time to build up and it should be started at anytime. Either it's putting down $5 a paycheck or $50 a paycheck. You want this fund to m

How Fast Food Costs Us Money?

Image
Everyday People around the world eat Fast Food. They come home late at night and they are hungry. The natural impulse is to eat Fast Food. Rather it's a McDonalds, a Burger King, Taco Bell, an Arby's or something quick. And with this kind of thinking people are losing their money on a day to day basis. Fast Food is also the growing problem of obesity to. Many people don't want that wait or to cook their food after works. That is why it is easy to do. However, their are benefits of brown bagging it for lunch. What can you do to save money on fast food? 1. Brown Bag or can it for lunch. a can costs $1 compared to McDonalds which might cost $6 to $8 depending on what you get. Maybe more if you are buying for someone. 2. Save that money and then at the end of the week treat yourself to a nice restaurant. Why eat quick when you could have your food in a nice atmosphere. 3. You can limit fast food to 1 or 2 days a week. this will cut back on your expenses an

Can We Cutback on Coffee To Save Money?

Image
I love my coffee as anyone else. I won't deny that I am a big coffee drinker. I go to The Coffee House in Edison, NJ a local coffee shop in town for my coffee. And how can I work or go anywhere else without my coffee. I've spent about $5,000 on coffee in a span of 5 years. I'm a writer and it is an expensive habit. I do enjoy it, but there is alternative ways that I could approach having that coffee in the morning. Many people love there coffee fix including me. They go to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts or a local coffee shop in town. Many people go for the atmosphere and the coffee. They love working on whatever their doing and having their coffee. However, is there an alternative way we can save money for the sake of our fix. For starters, we can go to the library and make our own coffee when we go. This gives us the opportunity to work in a different environment. This creates a different way of approaching our finances. Also, you can cut down on coffee and get yours

How Can We Not Get Trapped By Our Credit Card

Image
As everyone knows we are a society in debt. Many of the Americans including me are in debt. We either maxed out our Credit Cards or we are knee high into debt with our Student Loans. How did we become a society that is in debt? First off let me explain how this happens, when we are 18 years old, credit card companies approach us with the idea we can have anything we want with a credit card and they hook us. This is when you go to college. Second, I didn't mention this in the my book  Going Broke: Learning from Financial Mistakes (Money: Learning the Basics Book 1) , but I'm going to mention about how whenever you go to a retail store, no names included, they push you to open a credit card. The customer or person is forced to get a credit card for the purchase. Wherever you go they try to get you to open a credit card and it's bad. Next thing you know, you are $1,000 or more in debt with that card. This is how they get you and I'm not going to include the interes

Donald Trump, America, and The Harvest.

I've had a busy year this year and now it is finally quit so I can now touch base with everyone on what is coming out and what I have been working on behind the scenes for products you might want. First of, let me apologize for those comments I made in the Donald Trump posts. I was fueled by his speech and reacted as most people do. I might have said unfair words towards people out of the country. This is not a true statement. There are good people who work hard to get to where they are no matter what background. My only issue is that whoever comes into the country needs to legally do so. Being an American used to mean something and I am aware that America has made many mistakes throughout it's history, but there was a time where you were proud to be an American. You had that feeling. It was a feeling from a different time. Now you don't get that feeling anymore and I can't describe it. People are a lot more ruder where I live. It might be different wherever you'

#DancingMan and his Courage

I'd figure I write a post on #DancingMan. I'd figure I have something to say about his efforts. I remember going to night clubs some time when a band was playing and I was nervous to dance in public. I always thought I had to have had a woman to dance with to be cool. That was my assumption. This would make woman feel insecure because of my insecurities. I'd had to face the fear of being scrutinized with my friends and others I didn't know. Dancing in public can be brutal especially if your the object that can be made fun of. I respect #DancingMan. I don't know much about him but from the picture it looks like no one is there to be his friend before until now. And he faced those fears which should be respected by everyone and should be an encouragement to Dance and enjoy life. We should not be afraid to dance and when we get older we lose sight of that and our music disappears. Everybody is granted a gift even if it is one moment in time and this is one moment f

Monthly Update for February 2015

Image
I know this is a late update for what I've been working on and will put out this month, but it seems I am off to a slow start and it felt easy when I was writing the stuff, but to release it, make videos, promote. It's a whole new field. I am discovering the tricks of promoting. However, since I am not backed by a big publishing company who will promote me. I do all of that myself. So every time someone buys my writing I am grateful. And I don't mind writing and working. It's this stuff that keeps me going, but just in any profession there is a lot of work involved with it. And it takes time to get to where I want to go. Before you know it I'm engulfed in my profession and quitting is not an option. Let me discuss what I've been working on in January 2015 and it will be a lead in to what I will work on in February 2015. All I worked on in January 2015 was working on a series of short ebooks on finance that will be out sometime this year. I finished writi

Happy New Years 2015. A Report on what's in store for 2015 from me

Happy New Years 2015 Everyone. I hope everyone has a great start to the new year. I first want to discuss my accomplishments I made in the year 2014. Thanks to your help the Kindle Book Birth Order: How the Roles of Each Sibling are Placed at Birth became the Hot New Release for Marriage & Family section and it is currently ranked #62 out of 100 in Marriage and Family. This is a good way to start of the year considering I have more to do this year. I will discuss this right now. My goals for this year are to write 50 short kindle books about 25 and 30 pages next year. I'm going to try to do series books, Some in the topics of finance, social media, self improvement, and some books I have been working on last year. I also will do videos as well on many different topics. I might not post that much in the beginning of the year, but around April and May I will keep on posting stuff. I will work feverishly to keep my readers happy. Last year was the beginning of something that
